MP3 files grayed out in Transitions-->Sound-->Other Sound

I am trying to automatically get PowerPoint from Office365 Mac to automatically transition from one slide to another at the end of an audio clip.  When I goto the Transitions tab --> Sound --> Other Sound, all my MP3 files are greyed out.  What gives?  I am frustrated to no end.

    Hi Timothy,

    Thanks for the information.

Since you are using insider fast version, I'll move this post to Office insider>Mac>PowerPoint forum category for further assistance.

    Regards,

    Neha

Neha finally got around to asking the first question that needs to be answered before you try any troubleshooting steps.

Please provide us with the version and build of PowerPoint application. To check, in PowerPoint, go to the PowerPoint menu and choose About PowerPoint.

    Thank you.

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Did you add the transition to the slide? Please make sure you have unchecked the On Mouse click option and added the transition time, and then clicked Apply to all to advance the slide to the next.

After this check if slide advances on its own.

If the issue persists, please provide the following information:

    1. Please provide us with the version and build of PowerPoint application. To check, in PowerPoint, go to the PowerPoint menu and choose About PowerPoint.
    2. Try inserting the sound which are by default available in PPT (do not click Other sound to add custom sound) and then check if same thing happens.
    3. Please create a new presentation and check if the slide transitions on its own or not.
    4. What are the settings in Transition tab? May I ask for the screenshot of the tab to check the settings?

    Thanks,

    Neha

The transitions are not transitioning automatically, whether I use "Other Sound" or "Insert Audio" . I have everything set to auto and it doesn't work.
