Have various Outlook 2016 search problem recently, but couldn't solve the latest one. User is on Windows 7
What happen:
Everytime the user starts the Outlook, it will give this warning.
Search cannot complete the indexing of your Outlook data. Indexing cannot continue for C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Outlook Files\xxxxxx.pst (error=0x81404005). If this error continues, contact Microsoft Support.
Search will works, but will not index any new incoming emails
If user close the Outlook and start again, it gives the same warning again, and previous unindex emails will be indexed. But subsequently new incoming emails will not be indexed again until the next Outlook restart.

Update: With the help from Richard Batty here, we located the offending update that causes this problem. On Windows 7, the update is KB4022719, on Windows 10 it's KB4022715.
When I go to the page to Uninstall Updates, I only see a total of 3 updates. None of them are KB4022715. I am afraid this is because my computer has already upgraded to version 1703 of Windows 10 Home (the so-called Creators Update).
If this terrible bug is "baked into" the Creators Update, how do I uninstall that?
For those running Windows 8.1 the guilty update is KB4022726. Might want to keep your eye on www.slipstick.com. She is on top of all things Outlook and had pretty good contacts with MSFT.
My Windows 10 has now upgraded to Build 1703 so that KB4022715 is not available to uninstall anymore. Please does anyone else have a suggestion?
I would try system restore if not possible to uninstall
or wait for fix if search is not critical
or disable the windows search, use the built in Outlook search instead (which is much slower)
