Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

John, just to summarise the issue. The blurring / resizing of images and conversion of fonts to Times New Roman is not limited to the signature editor. This behaviour happens when replying, forwarding and pasting into the email editor.

The question remains why such a serious and obvious bug was released to Beta in the first place. I cannot believe your Outlook for Mac team missed this, so what was the thinking behind releasing an unfinished feature that breaks functionality into the wild? I'm sure the other posters would also like an honest and frank answer to this question from your management.

Jeremy, thanks for your feedback.  We are continually improving our processes, and feedback from customers like you is very valuable to us.  The Insiders release (which you have been testing) was created specifically to get early feedback from customers prior to official release.  Outlook is a complex product, and internal testing can cover only a limited number of scenarios during our rapid-ship cycles, so we rely on our thousands of customers to provide feedback on a much wider range of scenarios than we can cover ourselves.  We are continually adding test cases based on customer feedback and will prioritize reported bugs to be addressed as quickly as possible.

John, I noticed that update 15.20 is public now. Did you manage to fix issue? I don't know if I should download it, html signature is vital for me.

    Thanks

    Kris

Edit: just noticed, that there is no 15.20 update for outlook. But question is actual - are you working on it? Maybe some ETA?

The official 15.20 update that went out this week did not include Outlook. There is not a newer Outlook build than the "Insider's" preview that came out last week.  We are still working on the known image and font rendering issues, but don't have a time frame yet for fixes.
