Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.
This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

2016-03-10T01:36:56+00:00 These are likely side effects of the new editor revamp. Some of these should be addressed in a future update. In the meantime, one workaround is to create/edit your signature in Word, then copy and paste into Outlook. That should give you the right fidelity.

2016-03-10T07:18:01+00:00 John, what you politely call "a side effect" I call a blocker bug. This update has made it impossible to work with images (images are shown oversized) and it has broken people's signatures.
I wonder how did it pass through your QA?! Or such bugs are acceptable by Microsoft standards?

2016-03-10T07:52:49+00:00 John, this is not a valid workaround, it might help with the formatting but doesn't help on the linked picture side of things.
Also this is not a "signature editor only" change of behaviour as a valid signature (edited with 15.19) is now broken (when sent after updating to 15.20) and any linked images are sent as attachments.
