Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

    Worst update ever!

HTML signatures are now completely broken. Outlook 15.21 and 15.22 do not respect the copy and paste format of the HTML signature.

Also the new "Fonts" preference makes it worse. All clients had Arial 11 and now it's set back to Calibri!? Arial 11 is not even close to the previous 11. You must now select Arial 9 and even that does not match the previous 11.

Please STOP the rollout of this update and please fix this MAJOR issue ASAP!

Also having the same issues. Verified latest insider build 15.23 does not fix the issue. Mainly centered around images being embedded and not linked thus ruining any chance of 'retina' compatibility.  Font face and size do seem to be respected however.

This whole process is ridiculous as half our company has signatures that work as intended (either on outlook for windows, or outlook mac 2011) and the other half who have upgraded to mac 2016 look like amateur hour.

At first glance, there is no going back to v15.9 either.

I'm upgrading to Apple Mail.app. Please give me a call when it's sorted :-(

I've updated to 15.23 and I can confirm that:

    1. Arial fonts still get converted to Times New Roman and increase in point size when replying, copying & pasting, forwarding
    2. Images increase in size when copying & pasting, dragging and dropping into an email

This has happened since 15.20 when the rendering ending was changed to Word. I am going to roll back to 15.19 until I hear that all these problems have been fixed. There seems to be no urgency (or capability) within Microsoft's Outlook team in fixing these issues.

Someone needs to contact TechCrunch / TechRadar / MacWorld to run a story on this and the other catastrophic failings across the Microsoft Office for Mac 'productivity killer' Suite i.e. Excel input and general operation is now virtually unusable for serious work and powerpoint and word ruin font kerning, requiring office 2011 for output to PDF.

The fragmented teams in charge of the Microsoft for Office Mac project account for atrocious quality control and lack of management making for an embarrassing and unforgivable product.
