Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

I reverted to 15.19.1 due to the issues discussed in this thread, however recently installed the current build 15.20.1. This is a much more stable build and works as expected now although I have not tested this exhaustively.

Images now retain original size and resolution but replying to emails still converts some fonts to Times New Roman, however this is a minor issue. 

Please thank your colleagues for fixing these issues in good time.

I have ended up reverting to version 15.19.1. I had to manually delete the 15.20 version first.

I have a client who needed his signature added to his outlook since an upgrade that brought him up to Outlook 2016. I read all the postings here in hopes of discovering a quick fix for my client. Nothing here worked for me specifically, but I managed to get it all to work. 

My clients signature was setup in a table format in msWord where all hyperlinks and images appeared and worked proper. From here I copy pasta'd the table into an Outlook email. Made my adjustments to the table(cell, row & etc shaping), and line spacing. Once I made everything look correct in the email, I copied and pasted the signature into the signature editor, confirmed once again everything still held the formatting I made in the email and saved it. 

From here I tested the signature a couple times. I sent an email to myself (same mailbox) to confirm the formatting stayed and then sent it to a computer I was remotely using and confirmed the appearance was correct again.

Totally an inconvenient issue, but as they say patch a bug, pass it around 126 bugs to fix... Until a fix can be found here is one possible work around for the issue.

When completing this process on my clients side, I found out it is easier to transfer over my testing signature I made on my end first. For this I had to use explorer to navigate to the signature folder and copied all relevant files and transferred them to the clients signature folder.

C:/users/username/appdata/roaming/microsoft/signatures  <~~ Signature folder location

For me I had to transfer the following documents over:

testsig_files (folder holding images, theme information etc); testsig.html ; testsig.rtf ; testsig.txt

All four of these files can be dropped right into the signature folder location, then go back to an email and select signature.

The 15.20 build is really bad for signatures. Since I have my logo image on my signature, every time I send an email I get the dreaded spinning circle for a minute before I can write an email and then every time I type into the email every now and then the spinning circle appears. This new build is not usable anymore when it has an image in your signature. 

Very poor form from a company like Microsoft. I am currently using Airmail 2 which has no such issues until MS fixes this problem.   Sigh...
