Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

Regarding the image embedding / links issue.

15.19 = perfect links

update to 15.23

links continue to work fine

HOWEVER as soon as you edit your signature, and attempt to update it, they become embeds.

So they are only links when done via an update. A clean signature in 15.23 becomes embeds.

Am off to try 15.24 before trashing it all and going back to 19. Will report my findings with 24 too.

Default font style for reply / forwarding is Arial 9.

Creating a new email with Arial 9 looks like this:


Reviewing the email in sent items or inbox preview pane looks like this with bullets changed to smaller points:

 

Forwarding the email or replying to the same email looks like this with the bullets back to normal size and bullet and number formatting intact:


Copying and pasting from the sent items or inbox preview pane into a new email loses the bullet and list formatting and increase to Arial 11. The gaps between the bullets and text comprise of multiple space characters.


So in summary, copying and pasting a formatted bullet list from a sent email's preview pane, loses the list formatting, converts indentations to multiple spaces and converts bullets to points. However, replying and forwarding keeps the correct formatting.

John, I noticed version 15.24 is now available, but I have not installed as I saw community threads reporting incorrect menu button labels when language is set to English (UK). There were a number of other issues reported so I have decided not to update.

There are no Insider Build bug fix lists or what's new lists available anywhere from Microsoft. This doesn't really help the people who give up their time to test the early preview versions. Can you request that the Office for Mac team provides a list of fixes / new features please?

In addition to the other issues reported:

1. Numbers in numbered lists increase in size from 9 points to 11 points and change from Arial to Calibre when forwarding sent emails.
2. Copying and pasting numbered lists or bullets results in loss of the number or bullet formatting and change in size of font and style. Indentations are covered to multiple spaces.

Any further news on an ETA on when these issues will be fixed?

#1 Can you check your defaults Fonts preferences in Outlook for forwards?  11 Point Calibri is the default font for forwards if you haven't changed it.

#2 What does the loss of bullets look like? Are the bullets converted to another character?

#1 - Does this happen with ALL forwarded emails, or only certain ones?

#2 - From where did you copy the numbered lists and bullets?
