Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

    John, I'm on Outlook for Mac 16 15.28, I've just spent hours trying to format my signature and get it right no matter what i try the image pasted into the signature editor renders as a low quality fuzzy image when in any email. How can i get the images in these Outlook signatures to render properly? Thanks

    Hi,

    I am using Outlook for Mac V15.27. Copying and pasting the preview HTML signature from a browser into the signature window under preferences results in the images being embedded. According to your post this problem has been fixed in V15.23. Am I missing a step?
