Hi Kris,

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.
This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

@JohnWang_MSFT, why don't you guys respond to issue we reported regarding the signature issues? Seems you only lookout for the easy fixes.
We are dependent on another team for this fix and don't have a time line for a fix yet.
Hi John,
Back in March 2016 you said:
In the meantime, one workaround is to create/edit your signature in Word, then copy and paste into Outlook. That should give you the right fidelity.
Do you have any further insight on this workaround to get an image to not be embedded? I tried this a half dozen times with different MS Word settings in effect (mostly around how copy/paste is used in Word) but didn't have any luck when pasting into and sending from Outlook for Mac - the images ultimate still get embedded.
Short of an actual fix from MS, any details on that workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mathew, I will send you a private message to get your signature. Click on the "Messages" link at top right of the forum page.
