Outlook v15.20 - signature now has image embedded not a link

This is a double post as I'm not sure that I posted in the OficeInsider area before.

This update seems to have screwed up my signature. Until now my signature had one image that was not embedded but a link. Now this behaviour seemed to have changed and the image is embedded in the message. Can we have the old behaviour restored?

    Hello,

After speaking with someone on the Outlook team, they provided me with the following information:

Linking to images for signatures is supported in the current version, however you need to use an Applescript to add the signature link to Outlook. The script will need to launch Outlook and add the signature directly to the signature preferences.

If you would like an example version of this script that references the Microsoft logo, let me know and I can send you a direct message here on the forums with the script file.

So that's me turned off my signature. I made the damn things and I'm now one of the people who are unable to use it.

Having this happen is just unacceptable and the fact it's been happening for 18 months is appalling.

oh yeah, meant to add, the 15.19 trick doesn't work anymore as 15.19 is blocked from installing on High Sierra :(
