PowerPoint for MAC version 16.13 delete and backspace not working in text box

Hi,

I have upgraded PowerPoint to 16.3 today for my MAC. Since the update the backspace / delete button does not work in a text box. This includes holding the command button and pressing delete.

The delete key works to remove a slide and also works in other 16.13 Office applications such as word and excel.

Does anyone else have this issue / know a way to rectify?

An update was released yesterday evening that should resolve this issue. Let us know if you're still experiencing problems after you update.

From PowerPoint go to Help > Check for Updates. There have been two updates released since the version you are currently running, so that should pick up a newer release for you.

Or you can highlight text and overtype it...

I'm rolling back PowerPoint as I type!

Yes, I even have this bug, and this is the very first insider release that has shown any issues for me. Delete doesn't exist like it was left out. The only way to make corrections git rid of the slide that has the wrong information.
