    Hi DaniloBrandileone Scardua,

Thanks for posting the query in our forum.

The error code 0xE000078D means that your OneNote is having issues communicating with the web server where your notebook is stored. That being said, we advise checking the Service health status to identify if there are server issues. If none, we suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps found in this article.

In addition, you can check the information posted in this article about Resolve the 0xE0000007 error ("We ran into a problem syncing your notebook") in OneNote.

Hope there information help you. In case you need further assistance, don't hesitate to post back.

    Regards,

    Clark

I am having the same exact issue in OneNote for Mac. However, it is only with Notebooks that are syncing with my personal outlook.com account. In the exact same OneNote app, I am also syncing with a .EDU O365 account and it is not having any issues. This doesn't make any sense...

UPDATE (19/march/2018): I received an update this morning on my Mac that resolved my issues. Attached is a screenshot of the new version.

Yes, Microsoft doesn't investigate what we post here. We only see the same standard replies, so bad. First level support!!!!!

For me it's happening having my enterprise login to license the product and then I connect to my personal account onedrive to get to the notebooks.

Today I still have the same error but once I checked my one drive onenote folder on-line I see that it's updated. That's worse since now we have an error that it's not an error and we never know if it's uploading to the onedrive or not.

Hey Microsoft please be better on your replies, I prefer to wait one or 2 days but have a deeper understanding of the issue. I'm a professional and I use OneNote to keep me organized personally and professionally. It doesn't matter for you but if this continue to have hiccups I will use Apple notes connected to the cloud.
