Enable new office experience?

I am office insider in Beta channel. Few days ago it was announced that a new version is available with possibility to try the new office UI for Windows 11.

However i dont see that option on my office installation (i have office 365 family).

How can i enable this?

From the File> Account menu, you view the information that is attached to your Microsoft account, like the sync folders of your files.

But you also have the 3 standard buttons that allow you to update Office, to know the version number of your software and the Office news. Step 1: Open Regedit To add the Insider button in your Account section, you must add a registry key to your registry.

To open your registry, simply type regeditin your windows bar Step 2: Add a new key Then you go to the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\common If this folder doesn't exist, just right-click on key part and select New > Key

Create a new key: office

Create a new key: 16.0

Create a new key: common

Right-click > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value

Then, create the following key:

Key Name: insiderslabbehavior<br><br>Value type: REG_DWORD<br><br>Value: 1

Step 3: Restart Office Close Office and restart it. Now you have the Office Insider button on the File > Account menu

Step 4: Change the Office channel Then, click on the button Office Insider > Join Office Insider to display the 2 proposed levels

By clicking on the drop-down menu, you display the 2 levels of existing update: Current Channel (Preview) or Beta Channel. Of course, you must accept the terms of use to change the channel of your application.
