Updates about new features, products, or events, and the process of enrolling in programs.
Thanks - I'm aware of that. However, I'm trying to reconcile these two statements:
1. Nicholas_W_ in the first post in this thread:
How can I become an Office Insider?
- PC for business use: If you have an Office 365 business or enterprise plan, you can join First Release.
- Anneliese_Wirth's post on 22 November:
To check that you're enrolled, go to File > Office Account, and look at the version number under Office Updates. If you see 16.0.6228.1010, you are good. That alone confirms you're on an Insider build. :-)
Having done (1) and followed the tortuous instructions in the article you referred to, I follow (2) and see that I'm not enrolled. So, what have I misunderstood? Or where am I going wrong?
