    I am running build 17046.rs_prerelease.171118-1403 and experiencing the same issue. I have reinstalled Office 2016 using click to run and am still experiencing this.

    The latest months fast ring builds. It became to much of a problem for me so I actually for 8 hours ago reinstalled the complete machine. Therefor I cannot verify the build number, sorry.

    I tested to do a clean uninstall of Office but the problem remained. Since I'm running a lot of presentations at customer sites talking about all the benefits of Office 365 it was not a good show when powerpoint was crashing repeatedly....

    Hi Michael,

    I'm a little confused, first report here was on Windows Desktop Slow version (1711 8730.2122).

    Michael, you mentioned a Universal (Mobile) device, but I don't recognize 17046.rs_prerelease.171118-1403.

    Where did that version come from? What happens if you click File>settings>about? The version and build should be there.  It should be something like 17.8828.2006 or something.

    For Windows desktop, there was an Insider fast version in the last few days, can anyone confirm whether that also has the issue?

    Has MS come up with any resolutions to this? My Office apps crashed over a dozen times yesterday (usually Outlook & OneNote) and reimaging my Surface would be a GIANT productivity drain for me trying to get my custom apps all back installed and configured.
