Dear commuity!
I was reading that once a workspace creator would leave the company, the workspace will be owner-less and the IT would not be able to add a new one.
What does this mean in theory - that the workspace would still be operable and people could still be added? Or what does the owner has what the other do not have?

Therefore, we suggest that you post a question or idea (with as much detail as possible, including images, copying videos, etc., if convenient) on **** a special feedback platformfor this situation, where a dedicated developer will be watching and commenting on your feedback.

thank you for the update! Is there a feature planned in the future to prevent this?
Or would there be a work-around to solve this issue?
Otherwise I would suggest our company to generate a new email address for each project, which then would be the workspace owner.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community, we are glad to assist you.
We understand that you are trying to inquire about Loop workspace with no owner.
It is important to explain that no owner means that this workspace will lose editing privileges. Administrators will not be able to delete from this workspace, nor will they be able to assign members to the no owner workspace.
Equivalently, the no-owner workspace exists independently and cannot be changed in any subsequent way.
