Problems getting started error message on every workspace

Really excited to try but all our users are getting:

"Oops!

We couldn't save the Loop workspace and pages you've created. They'll be lost as soon as you refresh or navigate awya from this page. Copy anything from them you want to keep and paste it somewhere else. Then, please try to create this workspace again."

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Still running into the same issue. It's been 6 months now since this posting originally came up. Can Microsoft just buy Notion at this point so we get something functional.

I finally got mine sorted. We'd changed our MS Tenant name and it had broken all the links (the fairly new MS migration tool swapped all other links across Office 365 but not the Loop files).

It meant that I had to rebuild our Loop environment and now it is all working again.

Hope that helps others too but at the same time it's frustrating the lack of Loop development and integration. When will we see an app built into MS Teams?

    Mary-Lou,

    Thanks for sharing!

I am definitely interested in hearing more about your tenant rename scenario if you can share more details.

I cannot share timelines on our integration with Teams, but that is a high-pri scenario we are currently collaborating on. Expect to hear more before the year is out and into 2024 on that one.

    Thanks again,
    Derek

For those of you still hitting this issue and using Conditional Access, please update your policies to also include the Loop app.

In early September, the Loop app was added to the list of apps that can be targeted in Conditional Access policies. So, you will still hit the create workspace issue if you haven't extended the existing policies to also include the Loop app.

Additionally, this post will be closed shortly so we can track the current set of issue blocking create workspace. A lot has changed since March 2023, so we need to make sure we aren't conflating current issues being faced with the previous issues. At this time, we are actively focused on create workspace issues caused in tenants that leverage Conditional Access. So please share those details. Also, if you are failing and not using Conditional Access, we still need those session ids.

We look forward to hearing from you and thanks for your patience.

    Thanks,
    Derek
