I have an Office 365 subscription through my work, after recently updating Office, every time I now open Word, Excel or PowerPoint, I am prompted to sign in and activate the product. When I try to, I get this error “Another account from your organisation is already signed in on this device". I have tried multiple suggestions as follow : Delete all Keychain entries relating to Office Uninstall Office and reinstall it via portal.office.com Install removal license tool Remove all Outlook accounts and add them (as suggested here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/word-and-excel-keep-prompting-for-activation-every/a055b722-574f-4dbc-974d-a8a336a119e7?messageId=c0435c83-9040-4180-8a22-d8f5850509c1 ) My Office apps are all up to date and I am running macOS Monterey Version 12.6. Excel for Mac version is 16.68. Thank you for your support. Does not work for me. And to make things even worse, the Office install broke OneDrive, hard. To the point where it just crashes now. If I do get a OneDrive login window I plug in my primary account and it takes me to a list of all of the other tenants I'm logged into. MICROSOFT, something is embedded in the system that is not being removed by all of these third party tools. I don't know if it's because of the interaction with Teams or if there's a kext buried somewhere that has a history of all the tenants you've ever logged into. I can also tell you that I've been removed from a number of these tenants because they are no longer clients. If I don't exist in those tenants, why are you still associating me with them? Because you've buried these logins somewhere in the OS and you don't clean up your garbage! Or Teams is holding onto them with a death grip and not cleaning up it's garbage. NOTHING IS WORKING!!! I will now be forced to either give up on this particular Mac or reformat it and start over, essentially rebuilding my life. Thanks, Microsoft.

I used the completely remove office with this tool for it to remove all licencing correctly , as apparently I had 2 different installs on the MAC

AMAZING - read through this entire thread... this was the first thing I tried.... took about 5 seconds and it fixed it. Thank you. Open spotlight, paste that command, open word, resign in and boom!
