I have an Office 365 subscription through my work, after recently updating Office, every time I now open Word, Excel or PowerPoint, I am prompted to sign in and activate the product. When I try to, I get this error “Another account from your organisation is already signed in on this device". I have tried multiple suggestions as follow : Delete all Keychain entries relating to Office Uninstall Office and reinstall it via portal.office.com Install removal license tool Remove all Outlook accounts and add them (as suggested here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/word-and-excel-keep-prompting-for-activation-every/a055b722-574f-4dbc-974d-a8a336a119e7?messageId=c0435c83-9040-4180-8a22-d8f5850509c1 ) My Office apps are all up to date and I am running macOS Monterey Version 12.6. Excel for Mac version is 16.68. Thank you for your support. Still not working. I've done the dance multiple times. Something from the other tenants is being retained in the inner workings of MacOS, because it's still thinking I'm logged into other accounts after completely removing things. I have reason to suspect this started by my saying "yes" to remaining logged in to one of my Edge profiles. I use Edge profiles to also manage across multiple tenants and keep things separate. I slipped up and told one of my secondary profiles to stay logged in, thinking it would only impact the Edge profile. Might not be that. I also suspect the Microsoft has given up on trying to resolve this.

I've done the dance of removing keychain entries, using the license removal tools, uninstalling and reinstalling. Finally, I'm seeing my other tenant logins on the account list for Excel. I can log out of each of those. And then they keep coming back and I get the error message again. Clearly, the other tenant logins are being embedded in something that's not being removed automatically. This is beyond frustrating.
