MS Tech support told me Copilot was coming 'soon' to customers on beta channel - keen to learn but not a fotune 500. Are we likely to get this soon?

You are confused. OP is asking for access to Copilot for Office 365. You are supplying an answer to Copilot for coding via Git. There is a difference. Educate yourself, and then those around you. No need to be so blunt. We are a community and just want to learn.

The team recently confirmed that no ETA has been finalized yet. I’ll update this thread when more info is available.

    Hi

CoPilot within Office 365 has been announced to the press, but it is not yet available to beta testers.

Keep your installation up to date to be among the first to get to test co-pilot.

Microsoft rolls out new features in "rings" or phases. Not everyone will have co-pilot at the same time. There's a ton a variables among them geographic location and license type, Microsoft has not announced the release schedule so far, but it is likely to come very soon.

    Hi Spencer,

    1. Absolutely. I believe there will be a beta like other Microsoft products.
    2. Not sure.
    3. Even Microsoft has not finalized it, I am afraid. My best guess is after June 30th when the next fiscal year starts.
    4. Always information will be posted at Microsoft 365 Blog | Latest Product Updates and Insights

Hi Paul - no unfortunately - but I got an explanation..... I ended up calling microsoft business support (because you need a business or enterprise plan to be able to get early acces) and they told me that the link to the application form for the technical preview program, had been removed from the OpenAI website very fast, because of overwhelming interest. So we were just too slow.
