Word can't print due to a problem with the printer setup

MS Word for Mac version 16.14

No changes to system. Word update installed yesterday, since that time, Word alone can't print from the system, pops this error each time before the print dialogue. Will not print. Other MS Office products still working fine (excel, etc). Printing from any other application on system also works fine. Reboot did not help either.

Any other ideas?

Updated to 16.4.1 (180613) today and it seems to have fixed the bug.

iMac 27" 2009, latest high sierra, Epson Photo RX560, latest drivers.

Over 51 people have complained about this issue. Over 400 have read this thread which means about 700 can't do business as usual. Did Microsoft send us a corrupted update? Any word from Microsoft as to what we are supposed to do?

Yes, Word has a bug. Everything other app etc. is printing fine. I have Epson WF-4630

Macbook Pro late 2012

Latest Sierra

Word for Mac, Insider Fast builds, latest build

Latest drivers for Epson.

I have the exact same problem that you have described above. It is not the printers because I am using an Epson WF36040.

How can different printers be having the same problem in different parts of the country?

I think Word has a bug that needs fixing.
