Word can't print due to a problem with the printer setup

MS Word for Mac version 16.14

No changes to system. Word update installed yesterday, since that time, Word alone can't print from the system, pops this error each time before the print dialogue. Will not print. Other MS Office products still working fine (excel, etc). Printing from any other application on system also works fine. Reboot did not help either.

Any other ideas?

Updated to 16.4.1 (180613) today and it seems to have fixed the bug.

Replaced Plist file but still not working.

The engineer helped me fix this .

This is what I remember.

On my Mac, he went to "Home" then to Library, then he typed in plist.

100's of files showed up and he looked for a file called

microsoft word plist. He changed the name to microsoft word old plist.

closed out and then everything worked great.

From what I could see the new update and the old file were fighting each other.

This is a vague description of how he fixed it but, don't go by me because I am not tech savvy, call support and tell them this description and they maybe to fix it for you

may know how to better fix it.

Just ran update on an iMac with the problem. No Joy. Problem remains.

Lucinda is correct. The problem is with WORD and MS OFFICE!
