Can't insert 3d models

I installed the 365 office and got the insiders updates, my version is above the one asked for this feature but the option "insert 3d model" isnt showing in any of my office programs. Answer desk has denied to provide help since this is a insider feature.

I tried to add the button to insert 3d models customizing the panel, but it just lay there... gray and inactive.

Hi Leandro,

What version are you using? On the Insert tab, you should see 3D Models in the Illustration section. You shouldn't need to add it as a custom button.

On a new install, you probably don't have any 3D files, so choose the Online option.

Hey Jay

Thank you very much for the reply. I just discovered what was causing my problem. The previous user had a pirated version of the program on this machine. Unhappily not even the me removal tool worked and the ironic part is that I needed to download the autokms software so it could disarm itself.

Things are working now.

The pirate software is able to work by setting the trial version over and over again. To do so it had something rearming this entry. The office could never do the authentication for real. I tried the removal tool mentioned here and a few other steps... none of wich worked for me.

I them downloaded the autokms tool that is provided in dubious sites, in it there is a disarm button that will make the office ask for the authentication amnd keys again. Just do it and use your office id.
