More over it does not function the same. Try dragging and dropping a username into the search window. I use to use search to find messages from specific machines with elaborate naming conventions. This would allow me to check the history of the alerts. Now it's just broken. But no surprise. Microsoft hates themselves and is always trying to be someone else.. 95% of the time with poor results. Zune, Bing, Surface, Azure, etc, etc. Why not just concentrate on Windows and Office?
MS also has a habbit of refusing to face reality. Have a nasty bug or security flaw that will be difficult to fix? Well, why not just ignore it?
For decades MS has been dodging an obvious fact: Outlook is not an email program. Users all treat it as a virtual filing cabinet. It is, first and foremost a database program. Get your **** together and start treating it as such.
