Outlook search bar moved to the title!?

When clicked on the search bar there is a drop-down at the right side of the search bar, when clicked, opens a window that has the search tool, like the search option ribbon, to chose search options like Search in - current folder, subfolders, received, from/to. You could also expand search options

We need more clicks. Give us more!!!

Nobody cares why they changed it, many of us don't like it and want it changed back.  In Word and Excel you can go into options are just hit a checkbox to remove it from the title bar.  that option is missing in Outlook.  

It would be better to be able to disable it entirely, and only access via a keystroke or menu item.  I've resorted to de-maximizing the window and moving it "up" so most of the bar is off the screen.

Be sure to report the original MS reply as Abuse, given it's destructive effect on Views and non-relevance.

This is another Microsoft "good" decision what you cannot revert.

Please make a possibility to choose the location of the search bar.

95% of the users would like to search in the old way, not from the title!

Microsoft... clearly this was a change that was not necessary.  I'm in continuous improvement, so I get it, but I have to remind you of a quote a heard a while ago that perfectly applies to this situation.

"Change for the sake of change is no improvement at all, only a wasteful allocation of time and resources."

Many of the comments on this topic reference that the location is 'right' or 'wrong'.  I am going to not use those words and instead ask why, after so many years of us getting used to them where they were, are the 2 search features now combined?  I too want it back where it used to be, not because it does or does not 'make sense', but because we are all creatures of habit and muscle memory or familiarity with a program of any kind is the first component of efficiency.  Unnecessary changes like this simply screw with user efficiency, which leads to frustration, which leads to complaining, which leads to more inefficiency, etc., etc., etc.
