Has anyone seen this before. Any advise on how to move back to default position?

    This just started happening to me.  This is the behavior of Microsoft Mail.  I specifically used Outlook to avoid the Mail search disaster.

    I have been using Outlook for 20 years and HATE the new Search.

    What is wrong with these people?  Don't they ask users?

    Hello all,

    all I can suggest is for everyone to lodge a 'Vote' on the outlook.uservoice.com to complain about this change at the following URL:

    Thank you for this solution. In my case I had to use version 12527.20194 so my file looked like this:

    <Configuration>

    <Updates Enabled="TRUE" TargetVersion="16.0.12527.20194" />

    </Configuration>

    This is the January 2002 version (not the year)

    Does anyone else find themselves constantly putting their face in their hands when it comes to MS updates? Anyone?

    Sad that I won't be getting any updates until this is fixed though. :(

    Thanks again and not thanks Microsoft.

    How do I know which version should be the version with search bar in original position?
