Has anyone seen this before. Any advise on how to move back to default position?

Not sure how could a company decide to do such major UI change without giving user the flexibility to put it back to where it was.

Putting the search in the top bar is irritating. But far worse is the new functionality that goes with it. Way too many clicks! The old search worked far better. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I am seriously considering ditching Microsoft altogether and already have laptops set up with Linux which outperforms Windows by a country mile. This new search, combined with a raft of stupid issues and Windows updates taking literally hours out of my day could be the final nail in the coffin.

It is a stupid design to put the outlook search bar at the title position.

So I accidentally hit close on Outlook, it reopens and the search bar gets moved. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
I don't want to hear any nonsense from any 'Insider' about this being a feature rather than a bug.
This is UX 101 stuff, and only a moron could conceivably think this added value and contributed to ease of use.
It has made searching far harder, to the point of it not being worth the effort.
The person / team responsible needs to show their face here, and take a hit for this.
