*Urgent* PowerPoint video audio not playing on PowerPoint, but is being played through my laptop. Need a fix so my recording can have the video play to the viewer and not through my laptop.

Hello,

I have made a PowerPoint presentation with the Recording software built-in to PowerPoint with the camera and microphone enabled. Everything runs smoothly until I get to the slide with my embedded YouTube video.

When I play the YouTube video, the sound comes through to my laptop and not through to the presentation which results in practically no sound being heard. I need a solution that can allow me to hear the YouTube video embedded on the slide, but will have the audio play through PowerPoint and not through my laptop speakers when playing the recording back.

I am on a Windows Operating System if that helps.

I'd appreciate any advice on this topic!

    Hi Jean_239

From your description, your problem may be due to the limitations of the youtube site, so you can not properly record sound.
