Hi Bjarne, this is Bryll

Thank you for taking the time to write to us in the Microsoft Community.

Copilot Pro is already available on web, Windows, macOS, and iPadOS. To access Copilot in select apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook, you need a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription. However, Excel features are only available in preview and in English. You cannot purchase Microsoft 365 Personal or Family and Copilot Pro in the same transaction; you need to buy them separately.

To use Copilot in Excel, you need to save your Excel files in OneDrive or Microsoft 365 SharePoint locations with AutoSave enabled, and the files must be in .xlsx or .xslm format. If you are editing files saved on your computer or in unsupported file formats, the Copilot button will not be available. If you can't select the Copilot button on the ribbon, try saving the file to the cloud first. Learn how to save to OneDrive cloud

To get started with using Copilot in Excel, you may follow this link: Get started with Copilot in Excel - Microsoft Support

Important note: To access Copilot, you need to save your file in the OneDrive account that is associated to your Copilot Pro and Microsoft 365 purchase.

Also, after subscribing to Copilot Pro, it can take up to 72 hours for Copilot icons to appear in Office apps. To make it appear after 72 hours, you may need to manually update the license by going to File > Account > Update License. We hope you find our shared information useful.

Best regards

Bryll
