Signatures no longer working

Since the last update, my signatures are no longer functioning. When I select signatures in a new email window, it does not list any - it is simply blank, the divider bar, and then the menu option to open the Signature editing panel:

Then, once in the Signature editing panel, only my signatures for my exchange-based email account appear. Otherwise, all of my email accounts appear when I click the drop-down menu to select a different (IMAP/Gmail) account, but when I select any of the non-exchange email accounts, it shows "Accounts are not available.":

If I then click on the drop-down again, it opens a pop-up window stating "This option is available only when Microsoft Outlook is running. Do you want to start Outlook?"

Regardless of if I select either Yes or No, nothing happens.

Clearly, Outlook is already running, I am using Outlook to test this stuff. My signatures are there in the appdata folder as well, so it is not an issue of missing signatures either.

The steps I have attempted to resolve:

  • delete and remake signatures
  • run Outlook in safe mode
  • fully uninstall and reinstall office
  • delete all accounts, fully uninstalling and reinstalling office, and then adding the accounts again

This issue only started occurring earlier this week. So, is this just a beta issue, or is my office/outlook just completely broken?

Yes, I'm using an ongoing subscription and I've made very clear that I can't contact support using the instructions you laid out, as has at least one or two other people in this thread. That sounds like a problem on Microsoft/Outlook's side, not ours, just like the signature bug that was introduced and then allegedly fixed even when it wasn't.

It's very tiring to be repeatedly told that we the users are wrong, and talked to like a person who just started using a computer yesterday. I'd hazard that most people who have profiles on the Microsoft Support forums and come here for support know enough about computers that basic troubleshooting and the ability to understand how a contact help function should work.

I guess I'll just keep checking for updates every morning and hope that the next one actually fixes the issue.

If you submit Help, Contact Support, and it is just showing Help articles then it is not submitting a ticket. As far as I know anyone on the Beta Channel should be able to submit In App tickets. There are at least two folks in this thread that cannot. Just to double check, are you using Office Subscription? Help, Contact Support does not work for Perpetual SKUs e.g. Office 2021. Aside from that I will have to ask the team what else could be causing this.

For the Signature issue though Outlook Dev just submitted another fix which I hope will address those still seeing the issue. The fix was just checked in last night so I don't know the build yet. I'll post back as soon as I know the build so everyone can test it once it's in Beta.

As I mentioned in my post it wasn't working yesterday, but today it was so I tried. And what I got was a few "recommended help" articles and then a link to get community help - here. There was no option to submit my problem report to support or to chat with anyone or get any actual support. This is the problem so many of us here keep repeating.

This problem is associated with the dialog box to select a reoccurring signature. The open ticket issue will not allow you to screenshot the issue. It is not fixed. I do not have the option of selecting a default signature assigned to each individual email account that is being tracked in Outlook. This feature is still grayed out. The whole point of creating a signature.

    I go back to:

Help=>Contact Support only leads back to this "Community". There is no option to actually open a ticket, chat, skywrite, or subliminally influence Support staff via Outlook.

I have gone into my registry and tried to add SupportEntitlementState but that has had no effect.

The springs are coming loose on Outlook.
