Powerpoint ink replay animation not available

Hi,

I'm on the Office Insider programme, using the 1909 version on Office 365 (build 12026.20108) and believe that there should be the ability to convert drawn ink into an animated form to use as actual animation in the finished presentation.

I've made numerous ink items, and whilst ink replay works to show the ink being re-drawn, there is no option in the animations tab to allow me to animate this ink drawing, let alone rewind or edit the play speed. I use a MS Surface book and stylus, and have got a number of recent features like 'sketchy' and the search feature in 'icons' working ok, so can't understand why this function isn't available. Not being able to access it is totally taking away the value of the inking feature for me.

Any suggestions on what is going on?

Can you select one of the inked objects, then click on the Animations tab and provide a screenshot of what you see?

Curiously (and coincidentally), the ink replay and rewind animation have now emerged as animation options for me to use, however the effect options are greyed out, so I'm guessing that some adjustments have been made to help me access this feature.

Thanks to whomsoever this is, however can you also complete to give me the effect option controls!

Hello Daniel - the Effect Options is only enabled when you have a group of ink objects. If there is just one ink object then there are no additional Effect Options available.

    Hope this helps!
