Hi everyone, and sorry for my strong language, but I am really fed up with the new Outlook Search on the title bar, that appeared a couple of months ago in the Insider build. Outlook Search used to work perfectly well for years, why did MS have to touch it really? Does anyone else feel so annoyed as well with the latest changes? Just an example from today: The new search bar, that has unfortunately been moved to the title bar, not only is it no functionally positioned - compared to how useful it was - but also does not work correctly: I am used to typing "to:" of "from:" and the name of the person whose mail I am looking for. No autocomplete for the names here I am used to typing "hasattachment:yes"; not only the autocomplete is gone (it used to come up after typing "has"), but no search results show up, even if there are emails sent to the particular person with attachments the same as #2 happens when I use the "has attachments" button of the ribbon. No results are shown, although there are messages with attachments for the particular person the new filter options (the ones you get when you click on the "Current folder" option at the title bar) are not consistent with what you have already typed in the search filter. E.g. I already have typed "hasattachment:yes" and I can still select "yes" in the attachment filter, so I end up for two "hasattachment:yes" options in the search bar, which of course doesn't work (not that it worked with one statement) What a big scr*!@up of the Outlook search feature! Please revert to the previous one!

Big businesses equals big government, same uncompromising disrespectful individual results. One size fits all for them, leaving shoddy quality, services, and support for everyone else.

This change is utterly unusable on the Surface Go under the following conditions: A number of Quick Actions are configured (which take up real estate in the title bar) Outlook is dragged to one half of the screen and any other app is on the other half The impact is: essentially no way to use the Search Bar, and there is no place to click or tap to move the window. What in the world were they thinking? It's as though there is no consideration to UI design anymore in these apps. "I know! I have a large hi-res monitor. I'll move the search bar to the title bar. I'll love it there and SO WILL EVERYONE ELSE." Pathetic.

I would LOVE to furnish Negative Feedback in the hopes Microsoft Programmers fix their ridiculous Error in removing Search Folders functionality! However, the only options currently available in Help are: Help Contact Support Suggest a Feature Show Training No ability whatsoever to Send Feedback. Did they get so tired of receiving feedback from irritated users, they simply Disabled that Function too????

That is absolute and utter bullsh*t - IF they are actually capturing Search Success Data, it could not POSSIBLY show a majority of users experiencing greater success with the new Search Experience. It is impossible! They crippled the functionality that used to be available. They are just too lazy to: support making the search box location configurable. Just an example from today:

That is absolute and utter bullsh*t - IF they are actually capturing Search Success Data, it could not POSSIBLY show a majority of users experiencing greater success with the new Search Experience. It is impossible! They crippled the functionality that used to be available. They are just too lazy to: support making the search box location configurable.
