I did it, and the problem persists

Disabling Automatic graphics switching has been reported to fix the 16.30 selection,hang/crash in Mac OS 10.15.1. See this link for details:

This does not work if you have a secondary graphics card. “If I use the secondary card (auto switch disabled or external display) I have the problem”

Does turning off automatic graphics switching fix the problem for you? If it does not, does your configuration involve multiple graphics cards and/or monitors? If so, which model Mac and what brand and model graphics cards and monitors are involved?

I did try it.  But, again in it did not work.

Just for the records.  In the morning I had to work in large Microsoft Word file.  I worked on the laptop, without using the 2nd screen, and I had no problem.

No, turning off graphics switching did not change the behavior or solve the problem.

Not using multiple monitors or graphics cards.

Also should mention I've tried SMC reset, PRAM reset, reinstall Catalina from recovery mode. Apple tech had nothing else to offer me.

 I am not a computer expert.  If PRAM is the same as NVRAM, yes, I have already tried it and, again, it did not word.
