I was wondering if there is any information regarding the changes that WILL be made to the Inking and pen features in OneNote.
To be more specific. Ink smoothing and more importantly the pen size and ink color.
At the moment I am using both OneNote (365) and OneNote (for Windows 10). I use OneNote (for Windows 10) purely for anything that involves the pen tools, and/or requires a ruler.
Both versions of OneNote have different pen sizes. OneNote (for Windows 10) has a pencil option.
While I'm not entirely sure. Windows (365) is lacking any ink smoothing as well, though please correct me if I am wrong as I would like to know.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I would like to keep all my hand written notes in the same size and color where possible.
Unfortunately I am unable to find any footage or information on what they have planned for the future finished build when they have merged OneNote (365) and OneNote (for Windows 10).
Will it be keeping the pen style from OneNote (365)? Keeping the pen style from OneNote (for Windows 10)?
Or maybe it will have neither. A new style entirely, or the style featured in Word and Powerpoint?
What about Ink Smoothing? Will that be kept for the future OneNote? Is Ink Smoothing in any of the other Office apps other than OneNote (for Windows 10)?
Is there any mockup showing the planned future UI?
