My name is Emily and I'm a Program Manager on the PowerPoint team. I'm excited to share that today we are releasing
PowerPoint Designer for iOS tablets in Office
Insiders Fast build 1.31.1 (17032900)!
PowerPoint Designer automatically generates design ideas to help users lay out
their content most effectively. With just a single click, PowerPoint will now generate compelling slides featuring user’s own images and text.
The Designer pane can be automatically triggered by simply adding a photo to your slide. It can also be trigged via the
Design Ideas button on
the Design tab.
To use Designer on your iOS tablet:
- Start a new presentation in any theme or add/use an existing slide.
- Insert a photo onto a slide OR click the Design Ideas button on the
Design tab.
- Designer will automatically generate design ideas and display them in the task pane.

Insider Fast:
Designer on iOS is available in Fast build 1.31.1 (17032600)
Right now, Designer on iOS is only available for tablets (not phones).
