so iv been using excel for Mac on version 16.76 (23072603) beta channel.

Uptill on hour ago, I was able to get the launch power query editor under data > get data (power Query) > Launch power query Editor.

Now that option to launch power query is simply gone. I've tried changing the channels, restarted my laptop, checked for updates. but gone. poof. no use.

    Hi Asif

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Sorry for the trouble this might have caused. Since this is a version on the beta channel, i would advise you report this using the link below as this yet to be an official update

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Hi

Anna is correct. You should use the special forum for beta channel users to post questions and comments, but no one ever does.

Is the workbook you're using saved in a current file format?

I'm using the July 26 update of the beta channel build and do see the Launch PowerQuery Editor option.
