Hi Insiders!
We're now bringing Office 365 groups to Outlook for Mac – it is currently available to Insiders and Production users! (Blog Post) With the first update, you can view your top 10 groups in the folder pane and read/compose/reply to group conversations. We are continually adding new capabilities, and you will see them in future updates.
For those who are not familiar with Office 365 groups, it is a service developed with collaboration in mind. It works with the Office 365 tools you use already so you can collaborate with your teammates when writing documents, creating spreadsheets, working on project plans, scheduling meetings, or sending email. Groups in Outlook for Mac falls under the first pillar and V1 release will enable users to engage with group members right from the group’s inbox and view group conversations with full history without leaving the app. For more info, refer to this page.
If you’re already a member of a group, Groups will automatically appear in the left navigation pane. But if you’re not a member of any groups, join one through Outlook on the Web (Join a Group in Outlook).
Feedback?
Thanks for your continued support!

Hi,
I am in a similar position to most on this thread. I have a Volume Licence for Mac but use an Office365 Account. Can you please send instructions?
Thansk!
Clayton
Hello, I am having the same issue. I have an Office 365 subscription through the company I work for but in Outlook under About Outlook is says Volume License. I followed the steps above, signing out of the account in Word, restarting and signing back in but it still says Volume License in Outlook.
Hi, just sent you a message on how to reset your subscription.
Hello,
Similar to Franzo, I work on a education campus and when signed in using the education office 365 account groups are not visible within Outlook for Mac. Outlook for Mac states "License: Volume License" under Outlook > About outlook. We have attempted to logout, restart and log back in and that does not resolve the issue.
When logged into the web app, groups are displayed under the inbox, so the users are subscribed to groups and the groups are Office365 groups.
Any help you could provide would be great.
thanks,
A.
