Hi Insiders!

We're now bringing Office 365 groups to Outlook for Mac – it is currently available to Insiders and Production users! (Blog Post) With the first update, you can view your top 10 groups in the folder pane and read/compose/reply to group conversations. We are continually adding new capabilities, and you will see them in future updates.

For those who are not familiar with Office 365 groups, it is a service developed with collaboration in mind. It works with the Office 365 tools you use already so you can collaborate with your teammates when writing documents, creating spreadsheets, working on project plans, scheduling meetings, or sending email. Groups in Outlook for Mac falls under the first pillar and V1 release will enable users to engage with group members right from the group’s inbox and view group conversations with full history without leaving the app. For more info, refer to this page.

If you’re already a member of a group, Groups will automatically appear in the left navigation pane. But if you’re not a member of any groups, join one through Outlook on the Web (Join a Group in Outlook).

Hello Faisal! I'm having the same problems as others you seem to have helped in resetting the license from Volume to O365.

Can you please send me those? It would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

I have  this same issue, "Groups" are not showing in Outlook and their retail license is registered in "About Outlook" rather than the O365 license.

    could you help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Gustavo

Can you help me change the subscription state as well? Using a volume license (Org is on Office365) and need the group functionality in Outlook 2016 for Mac.

    Thanks for your time,

    Hi Simon,

What version and build # of Office are you running? That would help troubleshooting. Also, you can go into Help>Contact Support and report the issue. They'll contact you back to help you get it working.

    Thanks
