Excel double click to AutoFit is not working with new worksheet and no wrap text or merged cell.

My Excel when I create a new sheet just to prove its not working or when working with a saved file, when I double click the column or roles to auto fit nothing happens.

Wrap Text is not enable and merged cells are not used either.

I created a new sheet with no merged cells and no wrapped text on.

I then wrote something shorter than the width of the cell so I can check to see if it works and nothing happens.

Can anyone help me?

Many thanks,

Danny

I just wanted to let everyone know that I fixed the problem! The problem was caused by my mouse speed that was set to the highest double-click speed, under preferences/mouse. I decreased the speed to half and now its working double clicking to auto fit in excel again.

Thank you

    Hi guys, thank you.

None of this helped, so I guess I will have to format my computer and see if it works.

After restarting as Jim suggested, please be sure you check for updates. You are running an older Fast build, and updating may resolve this for you.

    Hi Danny,

Yours is the first report I've seen about this.

Did you try simply restarting your Mac?
