Join button yields "the application can't be opened" error for zoom (Outlook for mac)

When clicking on the join button for a zoom meeting, I get the error below.

Zoom works fine apart from that, and opens fine when clicking on the actual URL in the invitation.

Does anyone have a fix?

    Join Button is visible but does not work.

    I'm using:

    Outlook for Mac 16.80 and

    Sanoma 14.1.2

    Zoom for Mac 5.16.10

    Hi

    You are using a current channel (not beta channel) build of Outlook. Questions about current channel Outlook should be placed here:

    One of the oddities of the forum is a moderator can move questions to this beta channel forum, but we can't move them to the current channel forum from this beta channel forum, otherwise I would have done that for you.

    I also have the same issue. Posting a resolution instead of an escalation would be nice, especially as Service is nonexistent in Microsoft.

    Outlook calendar: "clicking a join button for Zoom and it is returning an error "the application can't be opened -50" Any help would be appreciated.

    I am using:

    Outlook Version 16.77.1

    Mac Ventura 13.5.2

    Hi

    16.62 is not the current beta channel update. Version 16.68 (22110801) is the Beta Channel version you should be using

    Hi Simbarashe,

    I have the same issue when joining GoTo meetings on Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1 (21G217) and Outlook for Mac 16.66.2. Pressing the "Join" button on the reminder popup used to open my default browser (Chrome 107.0.5304.110) with the URL that is written in the location field of the meeting invite.
