Please close Excel and reboot Mac, then restart Excel and check if the issue persists.
In addition, you may start Mac in safe mode, then check if the issue will happen.

If the issue persists, please provide the following information for troubleshooting:
1.Office version. You can check it via Excel>About Excel
2.Mac version. (Apple icon>About this Mac)
3.Does the issue happen once you open Excel?
4.Do all workbooks have the issue? Or it happens to a specific workbook?
Please create a new workbook and check if the issue will happen.
5.Did you have the issue before? What did you do before the issue happens? Update Office?
