Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi Larry,

I mentioned that it helped, I agree that it does not solve the issue.

Have you referred to my other replies? Please try some sample images that are not confidential and see if you notice any difference and provide us with your OS version.

    Thanks,

    Sheen

Sheen, I have opened an older PPT file. Same problem. Looks ok on screen then blurry images on export to PDF. I suggest, then, that the problem is not in the file I've been discussing to date but instead in your application.

I'll try to do a Smiley face but frankly I'm getting just more behind and need to focus on workaround, using another machine, etc.

I have a parallel thread going with Neha on this issue. I just sent her a PDT and PPT from an old file that I opened in your 16.9 program, non-confidential. Same problem. Therefore, at this point I would suggest some corruption in your app as it was not the case with the specific file I was working on and brought to your attention.
