Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Yes. Downgrading Microsoft Office to 16.12 solved all my issues.

    The Tech said they were working on the problem and that it would be solved "soon." So whatever that means.

    The Office 16.12 installer files includes all the Office applications, so I would assume that you have to downgrade everything.

    Thanks for the reactions everyone! Seems like it is a bug in the new update that is hard to fix. I noticed that it's not only the pics that blur, but also the font that gets mixed up a bit and thin lines that are very thick all of a sudden. This is quite a problem for me as I use a lot of PPTx to PFD. Best solution so far that I found: either use an online PPTx to PDF converter or open the PPTx in Keynote and make a PDF from there. Hope Microsoft will be able to fix this soon, otherwise it may be wise to switch to Keynote after all. Enjoy your weekend! Ralph
