Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    The workaround we use is to open in Preview, Export, use filter "reduce file size" --> super cumbersome and a very blunt tool to control file size, but at least it works - cannot wait for this BUG feature to be rectified.......

    Any update on this? We are having the same issue where even after compressing the pictures, which reduces .pptx file size from 197MB to 55MB, the .pdf file is 217MB...

    I could totally understand your frustration about encountering the issue. Based on my test, I can get the same situation as you mentioned above.
