Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Hi, I'm using PowerPoint for Mac Version 16.9. It is doing nasty things to the pngs that I have imported. When I export to pdf, the images look terrible. How do I disable image compression (there is no File>Options menu that I can find)? Alternatively, is there a different type of image that I can use that won't cause this problem (most of my images are made in Adobe Illustrator)? 

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi All,

    We could totally understand your frustration about encountering the issue.

    As I mentioned above, we have been aware of the issue "Arrow size changes and shapes get thick borders when printing in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac" and the related team is investigating the issue actively now. I will post back and let you know the updated information as soon as possible once I get one.

    I am having the EXACT same issue that just started for me today.  I also recently got the latest version of PPT for Mac.  I'm following in case anybody has any suggestions.
