Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi Mdmnyc,

You can uninstall the currently installed version of Office and download 16.13 here.

    Regards,

I am running High Sierra OS v. 10.13.5 and using Office 365 for Mac (cloud subscription), running the latest v. 16.14.1

There seems to be a major compatibility issue between the two with respect to retaining the integrity of font and images within PPT.  It looks fine on the screen, but as soon as I print from PPT to my printer, the font is not retained (i.e., changes the actual font), the spacing changes (i.e., it's random and not aligned), and the outlines on shapes, or lines themselves, go from a 1/4 to 3/4 pt thickness to 6 pt or so, even though it looks fine on the screen.  The same exact thing happens when exporting to a PDF.

As you can imagine, this is incredibly inconvenient, as documents I am creating for clients do not look anything like the design, and I can't even rely on PDFs to maintain the integrity of the design.

I see others have the same issue (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice\_powerpoint-mso\_mac-mso\_o365b/problem-with-ppt-v1614-for-mac-printing-export-to/ef94f781-c80e-4ec6-859f-e174bb0a8350) and trust an update will come out ASAP to help.

Grateful for any communication that Microsoft can provide in this thread by way of letting me know when this will be remediated.

    Thank you.

If there aren't any issues that crop up with the fix while it is being used by those in the Insider Fast group, it should be available when the next monthly Insider Slow release is available. That usually happens in the first week or two of the month.
