Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

    When I save a PPT as a PDF it's super blurry, even though I have the desired print quality set high.

    I noticed the text isn't blurry, just images that are pasted in. When I save as a PPT the images aren't blurry.

    I went back to old files that I've exported as PDF without issue in the past, and even those are now exporting blurry. It seems like it's a setting somewhere that's affecting this.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    I'm having the same problem. As a quick fix, I found that my slides print a decent PDF file if you go to general preferences in Powerpoint and change the Desired Print Quality (Paper/PDF) from high to medium.
