Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Dear Yoda, 

    I have upgraded to version 16.14.1 (180603) of Powerpoint for Mac.  The issue does not seem to be fixed for me.  As per my original posts, I am using the "Print/Save to PDF..." command because I need to print 2 slides per page. 

    I performed the same test I did in late January 2018.  With the "Print/Save to PDF..." command, my 669 Kb ppt file prints into a 32 Mb pdf file, which is still too big to be usable. I can't upload the pdf file to the web site (Moodle) that allows me to broadcast it.  Does the fix mentioned in your last post applies to the "Print/Save to PDF..." command?

    I can compress this pdf file to Using OSX Preview utility w/Reduce size option.  This way, I'm getting a 1.6 Mb pdf file.  

    Please advise.

    You will know simply by reading this reply that there is a 16.15 update that will fix the problem for you.

    To get this update before everyone else (probably the first or second week of July), join Insider Slow. It's like cutting to the head of the line to get your monthly update. If you can't wait, join Insider Fast, but that program delivers weekly updates of pre-beta builds, so you would not want to join Insider Fast for every day use.

    For those unwilling to use pre-beta software (Insider Fast) you can use Insider Slow. Insider Slow delivers the upcoming 16.15 release a little sooner than waiting for it to come through the regular update. If you join Insider Slow you might get this release during the first week of July (hard to say due to the holiday), but it will come sooner than with a regular update.
