Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi,

Just want to add that I have exactly the same problem on upgrading to powerpoint 16.9 - and I also need a fix ASAP. I also see that you now dont have an option to compress pictures to high definition under File -> Compress pictures. I have no idea why Microsoft would think that people somehow dont want to export high def pdfs.... You guys need to get on to this problem

    Nick
