Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi Vincent,

We have reported the situation to related team. What you are encountering is an expected behavior, which is set by design.

We are aware of the PDF file size is large when users save a PowerPoint file as a PDF file in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac. We will try our best to fix it, while there is no ETA currently. I would like to suggest you refer to this article for latest feature updates information of Office 2016 for Mac: Release notes for Office 2016 for Mac

    Regards,

    Hi,

This issue is huge for myself and my clients. On a daily basis I need to PDF presentations and the my workaround (exporting high res jpegs and combining in Acrobat Pro is getting laborious) It is not an option to backdate software with so many users.

    Thank You
